Individuals who are engaged as volunteers will not be paid and the costs of travel, accommodation and living expenses are the responsibility of the individual. However, for certain assignments NEFORD may provide modest accommodation & hygienic meals to volunteers. It may also arrange for transportation between place of boarding and job site.
Assistance to Volunteer:
Volunteers will organize their own travel plans and expenses to reach their duty station. NEFORD shall assist volunteers in planning their travel & accommodation within India. NEFORD will provide the volunteer with documentation certifying that the individual is a volunteer with NEFORD, which can be used to obtain a visa, if necessary.
